Our Promise
Our promise is to advocate, educate, and raise awareness for all veterans. We will offer outreach for PTSD, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol education, and support to veterans and their families in our community.
We will leave no stone unturned, no matter how big or small, to accomplish our mission. Advocacy is the first step in conquering the battle here on the home front. We will do whatever it takes to Keep the Promise.
Veterans Promise is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Shine the Light Ceremony
Every month, we remember the veterans we have lost here on the homefront after their honorable service to our grateful nation. These heroes are commemorated on our Wall of Heroes. This event is held on the 22nd of each month at our location.
Community Involvement
We show military veterans the honor and respect that they deserve for their sacrifices. Our community and volunteers stand behind them and show them how much they mean to us and let them know that they are not alone.
Support for Veterans and Families
We give our heroes support and resources during their journey through life after their return. Many veterans see the world differently after coming home, and we strive to give them the comfort and strength that they need during that transition.
Our Mission
Founded on November 16, 2016, Veterans Promise is committed to assisting and advocating for Veterans and their families, in obtaining needed services and support.
We will accomplish this through needs assessment, outreach, advocacy, and resource linkage.
In addition, we are committed to raising awareness for and aiding in the prevention of Veteran Suicide.
Our target audience is all who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces.

Programming
At Veterans Promise, we have a variety of programming and outreach options. These are the promises that we make to our veterans and their families in our community.
Wall of Heroes
The Veterans Promise Wall of Heroes is for the heroes that we lost on the homefront, long before their time. We regularly honor the heroes with candelight vigils. We invite family, friends, and the community together to commemorate the fallen.
Hardship Grant Program
Veterans Promise provides financial relief in time of hardship to eligible veterans and their families once a need has been demonstrated. Hardship grants are reviewed by the board of directors and then approved on a case-by-case basis.
Drug & Alcohol Program
Drug and alcohol support therapy is open to all veterans and their families dealing with struggles related to substance and/or alcohol abuse. This program is a peer-support program coordinated by a veteran certified recovery specialist.
Family Support
Here at Veterans Promise, the family support team is comprised of a veteran clinical social worker and other peers that assist veterans and their families with a variety of services. It is our goal to make sure that no one feels left behind. We got your 6!
Promise Keepers
We are deeply grateful for our sponsors, or Promise Keepers, as we call them. Their dedication to keeping the promise is what helps us to serve our heroes.
